(ENG follows) Το Yalla συμπληρώνει φέτος δκυο χρόνια ζωής. Δκυο χρόνια γεμάτα δράσεις, εκδηλώσεις, συζητήσεις, ταινίες, μουσικές τζαι θετικήν ενέργειαν, με στόχο την ενίσχυση τόσο της κοινότητας μας, του άφοα, όσο τζαι των κοινωνικών μας δεσμών μακριά που καπιταλιστικές δομές.  Με συστηματική δουλειά που τα άτομα που εργαστήκαν τζαι εργάζουνται δαμέ, την τεράστια συνδρομή των εθελοντών που την κοινότητα άφοα τζαι όι μόνο, αλλά τζαι με τη δική σας στήριξη τούτα τα δκυο χρόνια το Yalla εφιλοξένησεν δεκάδες μουσικές εμφανίσεις, προβολές, συζητήσεις, βιβλιοπαρουσιάσεις τζαι έχτισεν σχέσεις οι οποίες ελπίζουμεν ότι εν να αντέξουν στον χρόνο.  Στες 7 του Φλεβάρη, το Yalla εν να φορήσει τα γιορτινά του. Αννοίουμεν στες 16:00 με πλήρες πρόγραμμα το οποίο εν να περιλαμβάνει που δραστηριότητα για παιδιά, μέχρι πάρτυ με DJ.   Τα φετινά γενέθλια του Yalla, πέρα που μια γιορτή των όσων εκαταφέραμεν τούτα τα δκυο χρόνια, εν να συνοδεύκουνται τζαι που ένα λαχνό ενίσχυσης, τα έσοδα του οποίου εν να διατεθούν αποκλειστικά στη βελτίωση των υποδομών μας.  Που την αρχή της λειτουργίας του Yalla αναγνωρίσαμεν κάποια κενά στην ηλεκτροδότηση (φορτίο ΑΗΚ) τζαι την υδροδότηση (πιεστικό), των οποίων η κάλυψη εν να χρειαστεί μια σημαντική επένδυση, περίπου €5000.  Γι' αυτό επροχωρήσαμεν στην έκδοση 1000 λαχνών στην τιμή των €5 τζαι κατά τη διάρκεια του πάρτυ εν να κληρώσουμεν περίπου 30 δώρα, που εξασφαλίσαμεν που μιτσ̌ιές ντόπιες επιχειρήσεις, συντρόφκια τζαι φιλαράκια του άφοα τζαι του Yalla, τα οποία ευχαριστούμεν.   Οι λαχνοί εν να πουλιούνται στο Yalla τζαι σε άλλα συντροφικά στέκια. Εν να υπάρχει επίσης δυνατότητα αγοράς λαχνών online. Όσα ενδιαφέρουνται μπορούν να επικοινωνήσουν μαζί μας μέσω των κοινωνικών δικτύων.  Ευχαριστούμε ξανά για τη στήριξη τζαι την αγάπη σας. Two years full of actions, events, discussions, films, music and positive vibes, with the aim of strengthening our community, afoa and our social bonds, away from capitalist structures. Through the consistent work of the people who have worked or work here, the huge contribution of volunteers from the afoa community and beyond, and of course your own support, Yalla has hosted dozens of live music events, screenings, discussions, book presentations, and has built relationships that we hope will last through time. On February 7th, Yalla is turning on party mode. We open at 16:00 with a full programme, ranging from activities for kids all the way to a DJ party later on.  This year’s Yalla birthday is not only a celebration of what we’ve achieved over the past two years, but will also be accompanied by a support raffle, with all proceeds going exclusively towards improving our infrastructure. From the very beginning of Yalla’s operation, we identified gaps in our electricity supply (EAC load capacity) and water system (pressure system), whose upgrade requires a significant investment, around €5,000. For this reason, we have issued 1,000 raffle tickets at €5 each, and during the party we will raffle around 30 prizes, kindly offered by small local businesses, comrades and friends of afoa and Yalla - all of whom we warmly thank.Raffle tickets will be available at Yalla and other friendly spaces. There will also be an option to purchase tickets online. Anyone interested can get in touch with us through our social media channels. Thank you once again for your love and support. afoa Internationalism* invites you to an information and solidarity evening with the people of Congo:  There will be a screening of a 10’ video about Lucha, a grassroots movement based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, followed by a conversation and Q+A with a member of Lucha who will join us online.  How is resistance practiced in highly repressive contexts? What strategies are followed by Lucha, and how do activist mobilisation take place?  There will be a donation box where all funds will be transferred to the activist group, Lucha. * This is the first event of our newly established group ‘afoa Internationalism’. The goal of the group is to expand our relations with collectives and networks abroad that share our values and principles. In an effort to internationalise our struggle by speaking out about the systemic oppression experienced in our region, we also seek to educate ourselves by learning about struggles and contexts outside Cyprus, with a particular focus on the Global South.
